Kelanjutan kisah Toey dan Oat dalam film Present Perfect (2017) berlanjut dalam film Present Still Perfect / แค่นี้ก็ดีแล้ว2. Film yang seharusnya rilis di bioskop Thailand pada tanggal 12 Maret 2020 namun harus ketunda penayangannya hingga 6 Juni 2020 kemarin. Namun pada tanggal 15 Mei 2020 film yang masih disutradari oleh Anusorn Soisa-Ngim ini telah rilis di aplikasi streaming Gagaoolala yang bisa ditonton secara berbayar. Kelanjutan kisah Toey dan Oat dalam film Present Still Perfect diawali dengan Toey yang sedang berlibur di Koh Kood untuk menenangkan kegelisahan hatinya terhadap Oat yang tidak ada kabar selama 4 tahun. Oat kini sudah berkeluarga dan memiliki 1 anak. Namun Toey tidak gentar untuk selalu memberikan pesan melalui facebook Oat. Hingga suatu hari Oat dan Toey pun akhirnya bertemu di tempat penginapan Toey sedang berlibur. Apakah maksud dari pertemuan mereka ini ketika realita yang ada Oat sudah berkeluarga? Apakah mereka bisa bersatu atau harus kembali berpisah seperti 4 tahun lalu?
Jika di film sebelumnya, Present Perfect (2017) terlihat masih kaku dan perkenalan kedua aktor dengan cerita yang mendalam, di sekuel kali ini pendalaman justru terlihat dari kedua karakter utama dan beberapa pemain pendukung yang menjadi pemanis film ini. Selain pendalaman karakter para pemain, cerita yang diberikan pun lebih dalam untuk menunjukkan cinta antara Toey dan Oat. Adisorn dan Kritsana di Present Still Perfect terlihat lebih santai dan chemistrynya bagus satu sama lain. Pemain pendukung seperti Ryota Omi sebagai turis Jepang yang sedang liburan di Bangkok pun terlihat cukup baik sebagai bumbu pemanis dari film ini. Begitu juga dengan Darina Boonchu sebagai Jane, penjaga hotel tempat liburan Toey yang jenaka dan stalker.
Jika di film sebelumnya lebih menonjolkan bagaimana keindahan Higashikawa, Jepang, di sekuel kali ini hanya tempat-tempat dengan alam seperti air terjun dan hotel di pinggir sungai yang lokasinya di Bangkok bukan negara lain. Memang sih pemilihan lokasi terlihat lebih menurun namun untuk kamu penggemar nuansa alam pasti suka dengan lokasi film ini. Buat saya pribadi menarik namun tidak berkesan seperti Higashikawa, Jepang. Jika di film sebelumnya scoringnya begitu menyentuh hingga air mata tak sengaja jatuh, di sekuel kali ini scoring Present Still Perfect ingin menunjukkan bagaimana akhir bahagia dari kedua karakter di film ini. Untuk sebuah film sekuel, rasanya Present Still Perfect bisa dibilang salah satu film sekuel yang berhasil melampui film sebelumnya dari berbagai sisi terutama pendalaman karakter dan ceritanya. Patut diancungi jempol untuk penulis naskah dan sutradara dari Present Still Perfect ini, Anusorn Soisa-Ngim. Karya beliau setelah film ini patut ditunggu dan diapresiasi.
