Sebuah pertemuan yang tidak disengaja dan menghasilkan sebuah rasa dan tantangan ke depannya diantara kedua belah pihak. Kurang lebih begitulah kesimpulan dari film Present Perfect atau แค่นี้ก็ดีแล้ว atau Kae Née Koi Dee Laew yang baru saja gue tonton di aplikasi Gagaoolala. Kisah dimulai dari seorang korban patah hati bernama Toey yang sedang berlibur ke Higashikawa, Jepang. Liburan kali ini Toey berharap bisa menyembuhkan rasa patah hatinya dengan sang mantan. Toey pun bertemu dengan temannya yang menikah dengan warga Jepang, Yumi, untuk mencurahkan isi hati Toey. Di tempat peristirahatan atau villa yang disewakan Toey untuk liburan ini, dia bertemu dengan seorang pria bernama Oat, yang ternyata warga Bangkok yang sedang liburan juga di Higashikawa. Pertemuan yang tidak disengaja tersebut ternyata menimbulkan rasa diantara mereka berdua. Hingga suatu hari Oat pun hilang tanpa kabar meninggalkan Toey sendirian.
Mengambil lokasi Higashikawa di Jepang sebenarnya menjadi daya tarik film Present Perfect. Lokasi-lokasi pengambilan gambar untuk film ini terasa begitu memanjakan mata dan ingin pergi ke sana suatu hari karena bikin mupeng. Film yang tayang sangat terbatas bahkan hanya 4 negara saja yaitu Thailand, Malaysia, Belanda dan Taiwan membuat film ini hanya mendapat keuntungan kurang lebih $ 2,168 saja. Memang sih memilih kedua pemain yang belum terkenal bisa menjadikan sebuah faktor film Present Perfect ketika rilis dahulu di bioskop tidak begitu dikenal banyak orang. Setelah tayang di 4 negara tersebut gue yakin orang-orang yang nonton film Present Perfect dari bajakan bukan platform OTT resmi berbayar seperti Gagaoolala.
Intensnya dua karakter utama antara Toey dan Oat membuat cerita sederhana tentang cinta menjadi lebih dalam ketika ditontonnya. Berawal dari pertemuan tidak sengaja, hingga akhirnya liburan bareng selama di Higashikawa, dan berujung suka satu sama lain namun berakhir perpisahan yang menyakitkan justru membuat film Present Perfect sebagai film low budget namun kuat dari isi ceritanya. Selain lokasi dan ceritanya yang bagus, scoring film ini dalam banget ketika muncul di adegan yang bikin menitikan air mata. Scoringnya bisa kamu dengar di bawah review ini. Bagi kamu yang merasa tidak adil dengan apa yang dilakukan Oat terhadap Toey, bisa menonton kelanjutan cerita mereka, Present Still Perfect, yang rilis tahun ini di aplikasi streaming OTT Gagaoolala. Sebelum menonton sekuelnya tontonlah dahulu Present Perfect biar lebih mengetahui latar belakang atau awal mula pertemuan antara Toey dan Oat. Untuk sebuah debut penyutradaraan dari Anusom Soisa-Ngim, film Present Perfect sangat layak diapresiasi. Namun untuk debut kedua aktor utama, Adisorn Tonawanik dan Kritsana Maroukasonti belum terlihat sempurna chemistrynya dan semoga di sekuel nanti lebih bagus chemistry mereka berdua.
